Boating License? "Certificate and Registration, Please." Pretty soon
you may be hearing this phrase from your friendly marine patrol
officer. Last April,
Governor Shaheen signed a bill that requires everyone who operates a
boat greater than 15 horsepower to take a boating safety course.
The New Hampshire Maine Patrol, is currently offering, at no
cost, "Boating Basics". This course presents many
aspects of boating safety, and can be completed in one six hour session
or two three hour sessions. The course is being offered at several
locations throughout the state. You can get a list of
locations and times anywhere you register your boat, or call
1-888-254-2125, or just click
Safety
Course.
