Suspect

New Hampshire Marine Patrol took a boat into custody that is suspected to be the boat that left the scene of a hit and run accident on Lake Winnipesaukee Sunday night.

The boat is a 36 foot Baja.  It was towed in to Silver Sands Marina in Gilford, and then lifted for inspection.  The boat was then hauled away and taken into custody

The accident claimed the life of a Bedford man when he was struck in his boat, and then overrun.

If you have any information about the accident, please call the Marine Patrol Bureau office at 1-877-642-9700.
